Southwestern-Inspired Wedding with Geometric Details

Aubrey, a wedding coordinator at Details, Darling and Austin, are basically what happens when people fall in love at first site. When searching for a wedding location, Aubrey initially envisioned a winery wedding but after visiting El Chorro in Paradise Valley, Arizona, during her trip home for Christmas, she knew she had found her dream spot. With Southwestern-inspired wedding with geometric details in her head, Aubrey planned the perfect day with so many details. To be honest, this wedding is back from 2016! We know we know… we’ve been sitting on it for a while (almost two years) and are thrilled to finally be sharing all the pretty that was captured. Hold on to your hats, because this Southwestern-inspired wedding with geometric details is a stunner! (more…)

A Misty Foxboro Ranch Wedding in Flagstaff, Arizona

Nestled in the Northern Arizona, you’ll find the quaint town of Flagstaff. Not only do the beautiful mountain views take you on a retreat away from the desert sights, but the weather is dramatically different. Summers in Arizona are usually filled with swimming pools and heatwaves, but in Flagstaff, you can have an outdoor wedding mid August and everyone in attendance will enjoy the cool summer breeze. Gabrielle (referred to from here on out as Gabe because we are tight and I get to call her that…), Nick and I all go way back from our high school job days (whats up Pump It Up alumni!!!). When Gabe asked if we would help make their big day special and one of a kind, I couldn’t have been more honored. They decided to have their special day at a venue that Gabe described as the perfect setting. “The pictures just don’t do this place justice”, as I remember Gabe telling me when talking about her design and vision for their big day. Scottsdale Destination Wedding at Four Seasons

We’ve got a beautiful Scottsdale destination wedding at four seasons that we’re so excited to be sharing. This celebration is filled with a ton of southwestern inspired details and loaded with an abundance of colorful details, which we really love.  The greatest thing about Arizona weddings is that you can have a completely outdoor event in winter and not completely freeze. This wedding took place in February and you would never guess based off the colorful details and outdoor setting. Tori & Geoff are from the Dallas area, and they desired to travel to Scottsdale, Arizona to say their “I Do’s”.  (more…)

From the delicious menu they were creating, the cutest cactus inspired macarons and the dreamy florals and cohesive invitation suite, no detail was missed. (more…)

Intimate and Cozy Wedding at Historic El Chorro

When looking for a venue in central Arizona, you’re bound to come across El Chorro. El Chorro is a fine dining experience that offers a variety of locations on property to showcase the beauty Arizona offers as well as the most delicious food. What is so great about this beautiful property is how versatile it truly is for a wedding or event. Which is why we LOVED being a part of this intimate and cozy wedding at historic El Chorro. Historically, this beautiful property was originally designed for a vastly different purpose; the Judson School for Girls. Originally built by John C. Lincoln in 1934, John had built the property so his daughter Lillian could attend school. In fact, you can still book the original classroom space, where we planned this baby shower. (more…)

Romantic + Rainy Wisconsin Wedding

It is wild to think that the wedding we are showing you today is almost a year old. It was recently featured in Love Inc. magazine, but this Romantic + Rainy Wisconsin Wedding is so much more special than a feature. Julie is my cousin on my father’s side, and last year we traveled to Wisconsin to celebrate her wedding to her new husband, Paul. Julie asked me if I would be able to help do day of coordination and some styling at the venues and I couldn’t have been more honored.  (more…)
