As a furniture and decor rental company located in the middle of Arizona, we are given a lot of opportunities to travel all over our state to work with clients from all over the nation. We received an email from Ashley, owner of Hello Bird, inquiring about rentals for her Sedona based wedding. Ashley and her fiance, Matt, were traveling from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for their Arizona inspired wedding day. Ashley being in the wedding industry herself (seriously, she is a kick ass calligraphy artist), she knew exactly what it is she was looking for. They both decided to keep their event small and intimate, drive north to experience the beauty that Sedona offers and work with vendors that they knew would make their special destination wedding day more than just a celebration.
We worked with Kacia & Tony on bringing their outdoor, Desert Botanical Gardens, wedding to life. We knew that they already had a great team of vendors involved. Their photographer for their big day was Jonnie & Garrett, who we always love working with. They have a way of capturing wedding photography that just makes our hearts burst. Their style & editing, on top of their great personalities, are just a few of the reasons why we highly (and often) recommend them to our brides and grooms. Kacia reached out needed a little something extra for decorations for her and Tony’s ceremony, as well as some small detail pieces for their reception. We worked with Kacia to figure out what was necessary and what would fit within their budget. Overall, we were able to add a few details to make everything so much more stylized with purpose, without breaking the bank. Thank you so much for including us in your special day, Kacia & Tony. We are honored and thrilled with how beautiful everything turned out. Congratulations you two!

As always, when we share real wedding features, we want to share a bit of perspective from our clients.
What was your favorite part of the day?
Kacia: My favorite part of the day was the moment that I finally made eye contact with my groom while walking down the aisle. He had tears in his eyes and with that look all of my nerves completely faded to the background. My heart was pounding in the best way as he helped me up the steps, thinking that I couldn’t believe life got this good.
Tony: My favorite part of the day was standing at the altar with all my groomsmen, waiting in anticipation to see Kacia walking down the aisle.
What were you looking forward to the most?
Kacia: Aside from finally marrying the love of my life (we had been together for nearly 7 years!), I was really, really excited for the father-daughter dance. My dad has always been one of my greatest role models and support systems and I knew that the dance would have significant meaning in my life. It got even better when my dad chose the song (does it get any better than Motown?) and asked me if we could coordinate dance moves mid-song. We got together to practice whenever we could be sure that everyone was out of the house in the week leading up to wedding day. We surprised everyone: my mom was in tears and I could hear my new husband cheering “No way!!”
Tony: I was looking forward to kissing the bride
Any other thoughts you would like to share about your day?
Kacia: I just want to share how grateful I am for all of the people in my life. I hadn’t cried publicly until my bridal shower and it didn’t stop there. It really is overwhelming to be surrounded by people who love you back and to receive so, so much generosity. From vendors, to friends, to family members, everybody came together to celebrate our love and make our day memorable and for that, my heart has overflown with gratitude.
Tony: It was truly the most amazing day in my life, such a beautiful venue and the decor was perfection. Every single tiny detail. I am so blessed to have been a part of it and to be married to my best friend.

I have always loved a good theme or intentional aesthetic. It is one of my all time favorite things to figure out for any event. Whether that is a full Greek themed inspired dinner party with Mediterranean food or a circus themed birthday party with just the right amount of cotton candy. This Spanish inspired wedding, from the minds of our bride and groom, leaves no detail untouched. From the white balloons over each table, the colorful glassware, the aisle rugs and the beautiful florals, this wedding is filled to the brim with inspiration.
Lauren’s dress is unlike anything I have seen before. With a removable peplum skirt, she was able to take her dress from formal to festive with the simplicity of adding or taking off the addition. It was perfect, because this Spanish and colorful inspired wedding was the best setting for all things frilly… We can’t help but think of the salsa girl emoji… you know the one!
“Taking photos with Lauren… Pausing to think about this amazing moment in the desert, while looking at the scenery and my new wife”, Amir said, describing his favorite part of the day. While Lauren had a different moment that was her favorite… “Our tango and listening to the wonderful speeches. Hearing and feeling all of the love in the room, all the laughs. It meant so much to the two of us.” Amir shared that he was most excited to see Lauren walk down the aisle. The cool thing about their venue, The Paseo, is the large, beautiful doors that separate the indoor space to the outside. Most brides choose to walk out these doors as they approach the aisle. ” Seeing Lauren, as the doors were opening, and she walked towards me, was a moment I was most looking forward to”.
We love being a part of some of the most beautiful weddings and events in Arizona, but love sharing all the talented vendors involved more. This wedding had a stand out team to make this little dream so much more. Thanks for sharing your special day with us.

As I am sure you’ve guessed, we work on a ton of real weddings, which we really love! We have always enjoyed being able to take our passions and help people make their dream event come to life, including their wedding. Weddings are such a great way to show your closest friends and family a unique showcase of your love! When you plan a wedding, you think of colors and different themes that may or may not make sense to you and your partner’s personalities. It is really cool to see just how a real wedding can truly showcase the couples personalities. I think that is probably my favorite part of working in the wedding industry… Actually getting to know someone and seeing how their personality shows through their wedding design and what it is they want to achieve day of. This next wedding is no exception.
We met Crystal & Garrett at our warehouse for a scheduled inventory tour. They had their ideal venue in mind in Sedona, Arizona, but weren’t just sure exactly what they all needed. We worked together to come up with what made sense for everything… Benches for their ceremony, later moved to the tables for their clear tent covered reception in the beautiful forest of Sedona. With colors in mind and the over all vibe of their day, they knew they wanted to add specialty details like vintage china and goblets to their reception tables, as well as specialty chairs to tie in the color (and to add a special touch for their first meal as husband and wife).
With the most beautiful images from Andrew Jade Photography, you are sure to swoon over these most beautiful photographs and find some serious inspiration with this beautiful color palate in one of the most beautiful cities in Arizona. Congratulations, Crystal & Garrett!

Nothing makes us happier than having an absolute dream team of vendors to make a real wedding stand out above the rest. We love working with vendors who have an eye for design, and are able to translate that design process into their weddings and events. Take Hoot & Holler for example…. Malori, the owner, designed this modern romance meets desert vibes wedding for Kate & Bill, the bride & groom. From the custom backdrop for their ceremony, to the napkin print on the tables, no details was forgotten. We supplied simple additions to this wedding such as the mix and matched vintage flatware, the blush goblets for water and matte pink plates! You don’t get to use pink plates for a wedding very often, so when your client wants to go in that direction, you would be silly to say no. One of our favorite aspects of this real wedding is the beautiful colors that were used for the floral. A lot of weddings on trend these days are very similar, and seeing such a bright bouquet changes that up. Speaking of the florals, that custom backdrop that was made by Hoot & Holler was utilized in two spaces for Kate & Bill’s wedding. It started off at the ceremony location, but during cocktail hour was moved to sit behind the couple for their reception. The photographs, captured by Melissa Jill, are sure to take your breath away. The way Melissa captures each and every moment with purpose is evident in all of her work. Keep scrolling to see more!

You know when you meet someone and you immediately have a connection with them, and think they’re just the coolest and nicest people in the world? That is totally how I felt when I met with Ally and her mom at our inventory tour meeting at our warehouse. Their excitement was overflowing and their smiles showed how genuinely wonderful they are. We were so excited to work with Ally & Ryan on their big day! We worked with Ally on her vision for a lounge set up, sweetheart table and of course, a doughnut wall!
The doughnut wall trend has been around for a few years, but is really starting to become more than just a trend. More people seem to be doing the doughnut wall than not, and we are really loving it. With a small cake for Ally & Ryan to still traditionally cut, the doughnut wall was the perfect backdrop for that special moment. The doughnut walls are a great way to add to your dessert option, or keep as your only dessert option. You have no idea how many people tell us how much they really don’t like cake! Incorporating a fun detail that is also purposeful is something we really support.
These two have such great hearts and they love their friends and family so deeply. One of the things I think I will always remember, is Ally telling me about her best friend, Katie. I could tell just how important Katie is to Ally.
“On my wedding day there was a missing piece that could not go unnoticed. For the longest time even before I got engaged I would wonder how it would be to not have my best friend, Katie Wagner, standing by my side. It gave me a knot in my stomach and an ache in my heart. After I got engaged and the wedding planning began I knew I wanted to do something beautiful, simple, and meaningful to remember Katie. The simplicity of a white chair represented the grace Katie carried through out her journey with cancer and the pure joy she brought to my life as well as many around her. With all the other decor being mostly wooden I knew the white chair would stand out. I then chose to add angel wings that I found at an antique store and colorful flowers that would represent her joyful life and the legacy she left behind. Most everyone at my wedding knew what the chair represented but last minute I added one of my favorite pictures of her that her two brothers carried down the aisle which made it feel like she was in fact present in every moment of my special day. That chair followed me around the entire night and as I caught glimpses of her photo placed on a bright white, floral covered chair, I knew she was smiling down from heaven rejoicing with me! It allowed me to have a sense of peace knowing even though she may not have been physically there, her spirit will always be with me in my heart. ” – Ally, Bride
We meet with so many people who have lost their best friend, parent or sibling, and they don’t know how to handle it. I just want to inspire someone, if we can, that they can always be included in above and beyond special ways.
Ally & Ryan are a stunning couple whose love truly shows in all of their wedding photographs. Which, by the way, are the beautiful work from Luke and Mallory. They have such a beautiful way of capturing special moments candidly, we couldn’t help but imagine the music playing, the sparklers crackling and the joy that must have filled The Paseo for this beautiful night! Congratulations, Ally & Ryan! We are so thrilled to have shared in such a special day. It means the world to us and wish you both nothing but the absolute best!
