Looking for some Moody Wedding inspiration? You’ve come to the right place. And when we say right place, we’re talking about The Monroe Abbey in Phoenix. The Monroe Abbey in Phoenix, Arizona is seriously a sight. If you’ve had the pleasure of shooting at this location or just touring it, consider yourself lucky. The old building dates back to 1929, and if you know us, you know our love for old buildings. The former Baptist church that was destroyed by a fire in the mid ‘80s is now undergoing a transformation to keep the early 20th century exterior intact while cleaning up the inside. The goal is to host weddings and events at the property, giving Arizona natives a new and unique venue to choose from. This is the perfect setting for the moody wedding inspiration that was inspiration for this shoot. (more…)
Let me start this post off by saying that I don’t think anyone needs makeup, but boy, can it be fun! I also want to state that in no way am I knowledgeable on makeup (like, what is good/bad), but I do think it is fun to share images and inspiration that inspire us and can, hopefully, inspire you too. One of the coolest things about working in the event industry, is being able to work with your event industry friends on planning their life celebrations or events. Amy & Jordan Demos, the talented photographers that reside in our sunny state but work world wide, just welcome their baby boy; Beckett Harry Demos. They welcomed their sweet bundle of joy into the world on Friday night the 16th, at 9:36 p.m at 7 lbs 6oz, 19.5 inches, and he is just perfect. We are so happy for them.
But before the birth of their baby, they were treated to the most magical baby shower by close friends and family in the privacy of their own home. Amy & Jordan get to see some of the most beautiful weddings around the world for work, so it is not wonder that their own event was just as stunning as those they’ve shot for.
Dusty blue & light blue goblets, paired with our mix and matched dinnerware, adorned the tables to add simple details that go along way. We love how adding pops of colored glassware to your tables really adds so much! With beautiful, organic styled florals from our friend Sarah with Sarah’s Garden, the tables were done just right. It’s always so fun to see how all the colors come together! Ruze Cake House has the cutest dessert cart that we’ve been seeing pop up at events, and it was the perfect detail to make this baby shower unique and one of a kind. Not to mention, all the beautiful desserts that looked too good to eat. It’s no wonder that this beautiful baby shower was chosen by Style Me Pretty for a full feature. Congratulations again, Amy & Jordan! We are so happy for the both of you.

Last year, we were approached to have our furniture & tableware at Soho 63 for this Peach & Pink Baby Shower shoot, and you know we love a good baby shower at this beautiful, historic venue in Arizona. From this shoot, our Garden Chairs & vintage Tableware collection make a standout. The images, captured by Meagan Gibson Photography, are crisp with the peach and pink tones that are showcased throughout this entire shoot. Adding in details like the macarons on top of the cake, the flower bar with all the most beautiful blooms, and the food with fresh fruit & honey, really set the tone for this intimate baby shower shoot.
A lot of people think that we only specialize in weddings, but the truth is, we do so much more. We love working on any type of event. Whether that is a bridal shower at your best friends house, a dinner party celebrating the return home from a trip, holiday dinners, or a baby shower at one of our favorite venues in downtown Chandler, Soho 63!

Inspired by the tropical summer trends, today’s inspiration is perfect for the creative couple who dreams of a modern and fun tropical themed wedding in an urban city setting. The talented Dana from The Floral Theory had an idea to create a unique styled shoot. The vision consisted of the most gorgeous and unique floral design paired with a chic relaxed tropical bohemian vibe. When this shoot took place, it was summer in Arizona so the team really needed to find and work in an indoor space. Blok Studio created the perfect setting and offered some natural light that made the room a perfect blank canvas. With lots of tropical foliage and fun decor, Laki Events + Design put together a scene that’s sure to get you excited for some warmer temperatures.
