We’re big fans of dinner parties… always have been and probably always will be. Today, we’re so excited to share a truly mouth watering Mexico inspired pop up dinner with Lizzie Kate. Liz does such a fabulous job of bringing all the elements together to create the most magical dinner parties through her company, The Wanderer’s Table. This Mexico inspired pop up dinner took elements from Mexico and translated them into the decor, the meal and the beverages.
The venue, a private residence, was originally built as a workshop by a local artist/builder in Tucson, that was eventually turned into a full home. The current residents are the builder’s daughter and her sweetie along with their two fur babes. The style is eclectic, southwest and evoked in chef Nadia, with Food My Muse, the precise feeling she was seeking in creating her menu, a tribute to san Miguel, Mexico. When Vadi Arzu Erdal, an herbalist, created the signature cocktail for the Mexico inspired pop up dinner. It not only was a delight to the tastebuds, but it nourishes mind, body and soul.
We absolutely loved all of the incredible details that made this Mexico inspired pop up dinner more than just another dinner with strangers, but a night spent laughing and eating delicious food with new friends. Being able to sit at a table amongst others you may have never met before, while enjoying the same flavors and enjoyable conversation are just a few of the reasons we love dinner parties. Being able to work with someone like Liz Kate, on executing these incredible meals is truly the cherry on top. We’ll be headed to Tucson in a week or so to visit our friend and enjoy one of her fabulous dinners ourselves (finally). If you’re interested in attending her next dinner party or just learning more about these beautiful dinners she executes so well, be sure to give her follow over on her instagram.
