We often get asked about what our custom work process looks like. We have a few different options depending on what the project is. Many of our custom projects for our clients are things that have no become staples in the Tremaine Events inventory. For example; our 40ft long table arbor. This arbor was an idea that was brought to us by a bride who had a vision for using a large arbor over their bridal party table. Ally, the bride, found the most beautiful image online of a free standing arbor hanging above two tables, but knew she had a bigger vision in mind. We loved the idea and after a few logistical ideas, we were so excited to build the custom 40ft long arbor for this garden and citrus inspired wedding.
This wedding holds a special place in our hearts. It was one of the first weddings where we were presented with a completely fresh idea. We’ve built similar items to pieces presented to us in the past, but this was a piece that we got a bit of creative control over the design, size, and the mechanics of it all. You see, you can’t just assume a 40ft long table arbor will stand perfectly straight without any supports. Matt came up with this brilliant idea of supporting beams mid way that rested on top of the tables. He secured the supporting beams to the top piece, made sure there was felt on the bottoms so it wouldn’t scruff up or leave any sort of marks on the table, and tested it out at our home weeks before the install. This piece was heavy, and came in 4 different pieces. It took 4 people on site to install and ensure that it was secure to hold up through out the duration of the event. We kept it up at our home for days to ensure the strength, and seriously, this piece was no joke. It was so strong and sturdy, we couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have such a great client want such a unique addition to her wedding. This garden and citrus inspired wedding was the perfect event to showcase this new addition.
Not only was Ally & David two people who had a great vision for how they wanted their wedding to look, but Ally herself worked at the flowershop who did all the incredible florals for this stunning garden and citrus inspired wedding. Ally and the team over at Camelback Flowershop worked on a refreshing design incorporating fruit like citrus and pomegranates into her design. With florals being such a key point in the design, you can tell that no detail was untouched. We absolutely loved being a part of this day and are thrilled to be sharing it with you all.
