Aubrey, a wedding coordinator at Details, Darling and Austin, are basically what happens when people fall in love at first site. When searching for a wedding location, Aubrey initially envisioned a winery wedding but after visiting El Chorro in Paradise Valley, Arizona, during her trip home for Christmas, she knew she had found her dream spot. With Southwestern-inspired wedding with geometric details in her head, Aubrey planned the perfect day with so many details. To be honest, this wedding is back from 2016! We know we know… we’ve been sitting on it for a while (almost two years) and are thrilled to finally be sharing all the pretty that was captured. Hold on to your hats, because this Southwestern-inspired wedding with geometric details is a stunner!

Again, Aubrey is a wedding coordinator, so I could bet that she had an idea of what she wanted her wedding to embody. She had always loved the mountains and cactus backdrops that Arizona is basically known for and growing up in Arizona, every view out your window you can catch views of the mountains that surround our desert valley. One of the things that fit so perfectly with the overall vibe was the venue.  El Chorro’s Spanish-influenced architecture was the perfect setting for the couple’s bash. If you’ve been reading the blog, you know we are big fans of working weddings at El Chorro.

I remember the day of the delivery and seeing dark clouds rolling in. Praying for nothing more than a light drizzle was all I could think to do. What is normally a sunny and bright day in Arizona had a little bit of a dark cloud, literally, over this Southwestern-inspired wedding with geometric details. But you couldn’t tell based off the images. A fun vibe and bold color scheme with geometric elements were around every corner at this set up. You could see why Aubrey excels at her career and I could guarantee that the attention to detail she had on her own day is nothing compared to the detail she focuses on for her clients. We loved playing a small roll in this real wedding that was featured on Martha Stewart Weddings and wish we could repeat it all over again.
