When looking for a venue in central Arizona, you’re bound to come across El Chorro. El Chorro is a fine dining experience that offers a variety of locations on property to showcase the beauty Arizona offers as well as the most delicious food. What is so great about this beautiful property is how versatile it truly is for a wedding or event. Which is why we LOVED being a part of this intimate and cozy wedding at historic El Chorro. Historically, this beautiful property was originally designed for a vastly different purpose; the Judson School for Girls. Originally built by John C. Lincoln in 1934, John had built the property so his daughter Lillian could attend school. In fact, you can still book the original classroom space, where we planned this baby shower.
Shane & Jessica set their sights on a setting at El Chorro, we truly haven’t seen another couple do. They took their intimate group to the base of a surrounding mountain on the property, set up for their small ceremony with loves ones, and said their vows. It was a beautiful setting with pieces from Tremaine Events like the triangle arbor and a few different rugs. They even utilized some of our harvest benches for the ceremony seating. It was such a lovely setting and we are so happy to have received these beautiful images from Elizabeth Wells Photography.
The overall style of this intimate and cozy wedding at historic El Chorro is one we truly appreciate. With tones of red and whites throughout the beautiful blooms from LUX Wedding Florist, you get a sense of the intimate emotion that this day must have been filled with. I always look at first looks and think about how I am glad that we never did one. They seem a little too serious and we tend to be not so serious people. I LOVE seeing the emotions that gets captured, but just can’t relate. One of our favorite details is Shane & Jessica enjoying a beer during their first look. This first look was one that I felt we could really relate to and I appreciate seeing their happiness, friendship, and love for each other truly showcased in an authentic way.
