When we first started running an event based company, we thought we could do it all. We thought we could make paper products, put together flower arrangements, plan full weddings… you name it! To be honest, we were doing it all, and we were doing it all well. We were proud of the work we were creating and it looked nice, which is a win/win. It wasn’t until we started to grow and expand into different areas of the event world did we realized we needed to tone down what exactly it is that we were offering, and be a little more picky about what full service events we plan and put together. We’ve enjoyed planning and coordinating full weddings, but the small events are more our jam. Bridal showers, dinner parties, and baby showers are some of our favorites. Baby showers are always so fun! You’re celebrating the life of a new human… how insane, right? This baby shower that took place at a private estate by Camelback Mountain was one of those smaller events that we agreed to plan and put together.
This baby shower took place at a gorgeous, private estate overlooking Camelback Mountain on a warm summer evening. Did we mention the event was indoor/outdoor? It was a little brutal, but we added outdoor coolers to keep the patio cooler with a nice breeze. Our clients, Pam & Andy never had a large wedding reception after they had said their I Do’s, so this was an opportunity for them to celebrate their new baby on the way, but also to celebrate with those who mean the world to them and to take some special photographs of themselves. The talented Lauren Hansen of Lunabear Studios was such a pleasure to work with. She is so on top of everything and makes sure to capture all of those big (and small) details that you didn’t know you wanted. When you’re looking for a photographer, you need to find someone that knows what they’re doing. There are so many more things that go into being a good photographer beyond just being able to snap a photo. And Lauren makes sure to cover all of them, so that she is doing the absolute best job she can for not only you, but for herself. We think she is so great. Jumbo 36″ balloons filled the pool to add to the magic of the evening, along with custom signage, custom paper products, on site catering and games, this baby shower was so much fun to work on!
