Okay, so to be completely honest, we have been sitting on these photos from Constance Higley for about a year, waiting for Easter to roll around so we could share them as well as some really simple recipes from Handle the Heat & Brendan McCaskey to make your Easter dinner a knock out!

Last year, we worked with the Tessa Arias, creator of Handle the Heat, on a fun Easter style shoot. Handle the Heat is a number one source for all of your baking needs; recipes, tips, tricks, and the science behind baking… One of my favorite things about reading Tessa’s blog. She works really hard on figuring out why certain aspects and ingredients work better than others and share her findings with all of her awesome readers. Tessa had teamed up with our pal, Brendan McCaskey,  and created some sweet recipes to pair with his savory recipes for her readers. The best part? We were invited to help with furniture and join the dinner party shoot. We were treated to the most delicious chicken and green bean dishes, paired with yummy dinner rolls and sweet cakes. It was wonderful! Paired with some of our favorite people breaking bread around the table, it’s no wonder this was such a fun afternoon.

The savory Easter dishes included a roasted carrot salad, sauteed snap peas and cast iron chicken with potatoes. The sweet Easter dishes included a lemon pound cake & a nutella cake – YUM! Tessa made the most perfect, downloadable Easter dinner guide that you can get on her website.
