In our last blog post featuring a fine art shoot with, we talked about how much we enjoyed meeting Karie & Field Denny of Ace & Whim. They are the type of people who bring so much joy and energy to any meeting or hang out, it is kind of contagious. We are now diving into part 2 of this series and truly think we saved the best for last. The color palate of this shoot was insane! Everything came together SO beautiful and we loved hosting.
Karie and Field are insanely talented photographers, who own Ace & Whim. As part of their participation in the ShowIt United conference, they were in charge of a couple different break out sessions. Karie approached us to see if we would be interested in hosting two styled shoots at our property as part of the ShowIt United Conference for 2015 that took place in Phoenix. The UNITED conference was founded in 2011 as an event for professional photographers to come together to learn, grow and inspire creativity in their businesses. The event started with a community of photographers who were creating their unique brand through SHOWIT, a website building platform that offers drag and drop creative freedom for unique sites. While SHOWIT continues to organize the event, over the years the conference has expanded to partner with other companies that share a vision to inspire creativity in the photography industry.
As part of the shoots, they asked me to style the tablescape and of course, use some of our Tremaine Ranch furniture. We couldn’t believe how luck we were to be a part of such a cool project! For both of the shoots, we were going for a very bohemian style, mixed with classic elegance. We paired our tables with some mid century style chairs, faux sheepskin throws and some beautiful florals to adorn the table. Florals were designed and provided by the ever so talented Sarah of Sarah’s Garden. She created the most beautiful bouquet and centerpiece that truly brought everything together.
